Totoche won a goldfish at the village festival. The fish’s name is Mauricette, and the tragedy of her life is that she no longer wants to be a goldfish. Going around in circles in a jar, even a nicely furnished one, has not been fun for a long time. Mauricette is unhappy.
She would so much like to be another animal, a dromedary, for example. With his characteristic empathy, Totoche is very moved by this sad condition, and decides to take Mauricette to the witch Annaplure. But Annaplure has its good days and its bad days, and today is a terrible day. It is not only Mauricette’s future that Totoche will have to save, but her life.
It’s a good thing Annaplure is a bit of a dork. And that Totoche has a sense of improvisation. He may even have some hidden talent for magic formulas.
